Composition, with a plan
The score is an unvalidated strategy model, not a measured team success rate. When verified data is available, the model blends 80% composition fit with 20% sample-adjusted individual ranked performance. These weights are editorial choices. The dataset is season-cumulative and can include games before the latest patch; it is not map-specific. Six role estimates (0–5) measure safe entry, team retreat, information, secondary pressure, anchoring, and sustain. Strongest coverage counts most; overlapping kits add less. The score also rewards coverage of weak roles, Recon / Controller access, and practical execution with randoms.
Best Overall weights: entry 1.25, retreat 1.15, intel 1.05, pressure 1.25, anchor 1.0, sustain 1.05. Aggressive, Tactical, Defensive, and Flexible approaches offer different priorities. Ability interactions reward a reachable entry with pressure, information before a commit, protected holds, and recoverable pressure. Temporary cover and delayed relocation receive conditional role estimates; beacon access does not count as a full combat scan. No legend gets a fixed preference. The approach selector changes those priorities. Partners are ranked using 75% immediate pair fit and 25% fit of the best available third. The preview is a suggestion: you choose the third separately. Alternatives within 2 points are close calls.
A useful guide, not a forecast
The fit score is a hand-tuned heuristic, not a win rate or measured probability. It assumes similar comfort across all legends, core Battle Royale rules, and usable abilities. Selected map terrain adjusts role priorities. Map weights are editorial estimates, not map-specific performance statistics. Loadout, cooldowns, mechanics, and teammate decisions can still change the best choice.

Role ratings and recommendations are our interpretation. The saved ranked snapshot can refresh separately; kit advice requires review after ability changes.
